Hello again, crafters!! I have a birthday card to share today for Scrappy Tails Crafts!! I fell head-over-heels for the adorable Let’s Pawty Stamp Set!! I ALWAYS need birthday cards and I’m a crazy dog lady, so this set is right up my alley!!

I began by stamping adorable pups and accessories from the Let’s Pawty Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copic markers, then fussy cut them out. There is a Coordinating Die available, but I don’t have it yet, so I just cut it out with my scissors. Since I was hand-cutting them out anyway, I trimmed right up against the black outline. I used a black marker around the outside of the images to hide the white edge.

For the background, I stenciled the Confetti Ribbon Layering Stencils onto an A2 panel of white cardstock using Distress Inks. I used Lumberjack Plaid, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon and Villainous Potion. I trimmed a panel of dark gray cardstock to create the ground and blended black dye ink along the bottom. It was adhered to the bottom of the stenciled background. I trimmed each side of the background and adhered it to an A2 panel of black cardstock.

The sentiments are also from the same set. They were white heat embossed onto black cardstock, fussy cut, then adhered using foam tape. A black glaze pen adds a bit of shine to the eyes and noses of the pups. I added highlights with a white gel pen and this card was finished.

I just adore these sweet pups!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week!!
