Happy, happy Thursday, friends!! I’m super excited for the weekend!! I’m taking my mom to visit my niece in Arizona!! She has lived out there for several years and my mom has never gone to see her. Girl’s trip!!
Well, enough about me! Let’s get to my card for today!! I fell in love with this little kitty in the Love Furever Stamp Set from Crafty Meraki! Although I’m a dog person, this little feline just captured my heart!
I began by stamping the darling kitten from the Love Furever Stamp Set with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored him with Copic markers and fussy cut him out. The Coordinating Dies are available, I just didn’t have them at the time. The sentiment was white heat embossed onto a black cardstock strip.
For the background, I die-cut the Whole-Heartedly Slimline Die and the largest of the Timeless Frames Slimline Dies from white cardstock. The heart die-cut was adhered to the back of the frame with liquid adhesive. It was then adhered to the top of a white top-folding card base, trimming away the excess. (You know I love a white tone-on-tone background.) “Love” was die-cut from red cardstock once and heavyweight white cardstock three times using the Love Shadow Word Die. They were stacked and adhered together, then adhered to the front of the card. The kitty and sentiment strip were popped up with foam adhesive. I added some highlights with a white gel pen and called this one done!!
This would be purrrrrrr-fect for Valentine’s Day!!
Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!!
