Hello, friends and happy Thursday!! It’s almost the weekend!! I have a “sweet” punny card to share today featuring the Layered Waffle Stencil Set and the A Waffle Lot Die Set from Trinity Stamps!!

I started by stenciling the Layered Waffle Stencil Set onto white cardstock using a combination of yellow and brown dye inks with Blending Buddy Brushes. I added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the fifth largest die in the Clean Cut Layers Circle Set A Die Set to cut it out.

I added Glossy Accents to the syrup and set it aside to let it dry.

I added Rip & Stick Adhesive Sheets to the back of a panel of red cardstock and a piece of vellum. The top layer of the A Waffle Lot Die Set was cut from the red panel and the shadow layer was cut from the vellum. The red letters were peeled away from the release paper and adhered to the vellum layer. This makes it so easy to place these small letters!

The second largest die in the Clean Cut Layers A2 Rectangle A Die Set was cut from a panel of red cardstock. I figured out placement for the waffle, then used the same rectangle die to die-cut it, giving it a finished edge. Both layers were adhered to an A2 white card base.

The butter was cut from yellow cardstock twice using the heart die in the A Waffle Lot Die Set. I blended a bit of darker yellow ink on one of them and adhered it behind the lighter one, slightly offset. I added highlights to it using a white gel pen, as well, then adhered it to the waffle.

The release paper was taken off the back of the vellum layer of the sentiment and it was adhered to the front of the card. Such a simple way to hide the adhesive behind vellum!! I added some Carmine and Goldenrod Heart Bauble Embellishments to finish off the card.

I absolutely LOVE how this turned out!! So sweet!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a great day and I’ll see you soon!!
