4th of July Porch Scene – Trinity Stamps

Hello, fellow cardmakers!! I hope you have a long holiday weekend ahead!!

Since Sunday is Independence Day in the US, I thought it would be fun to create a porch scene with the Cozy Cottage Porch Stamps & Coordinating Dies from Trinity Stamps in a red, white & blue color scheme!! Let’s get started!!

To start, I stamped all of the adorable images in the Cozy Cottage Porch Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. After coloring them with Copic markers, I cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I LOVE how this set coordinates so well with the other Cozy Sets!!

Next, I added some horizontal lines with a pencil and a T-square ruler to a panel of white cardstock at 1/2″ apart. I used gray Copic markers to go over the lines and blend them out to resemble house siding. I die-cut that panel and a blue striped piece of patterned paper from the new Rainbow Brights Slimline Paper Pad with the two largest dies in the Slimline Stitched Card Panels and Windows Die Set. Those were adhered together and added to a slimline card base.

From there, all I had to do was arrange my cute little scene and adhere it to the front of my card. I added some stars and stripes to my pillows, as well as a few highlights with a white gel pen.

The sentiment, also from the Cozy Cottage Porch Set, was stamped under the swing with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. Lastly, the adorable bear was popped up onto the swing with foam adhesive.

I think this turned out adorable!! It could really be used for any occasion, just stamp an additional sentiment on the inside for whatever occasion you choose!!

Thanks so much for dropping by today!! Have a great weekend and if you’re in the US, have a safe and happy holiday!!
