Hello, friends and welcome to The Ton’s 2023 Anniversary Release blog hop!! There are several layering stencil sets and one stamp set, all with coordinating dies (or the dies were previously released with the stamp sets)!!
I have two cards to share today!! The first one uses the Peruvian Lilies Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies…
I began by heat embossing the floral and the “happy birthday” sentiment from the Peruvian Lilies Stamp Set onto Bristol smooth cardstock with polished gold embossing powder. I colored the image with Brushmarker Pro Markers, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I also die-cut the floral image two more times from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the colored one to add some dimension and make it stand out from the background.
For the background, I die-cut the Quilted A2 Coverplate Die from white cardstock and layered it over a panel of dark pink cardstock. The flowers were adhered to the panel and the sentiment was popped up with foam tape.
Lots of Soft Gold Gems were the perfect finishing touch.
My second card features the Sunkissed Dahlia Stencil Set with the Posy Bouquet Stencils in the background…
I began by stenciling the Sunkissed Dahlia Stencil Set with Bubblegum, Deep Peony, Pink Derby, Plum Wine, Beach Blondie, Meadow and Evergreen inks. The Coordinating Die was used to cut it out. I stenciled the Posy Bouquet Stencil Set a couple of times along the left side of an A2 white card base using the same colors as the dahlia. I blended a bit of Bubblegum and Beach Blondie ink around the edges and slightly over the posies.
A scalloped die from the Slimline Border Dies Set was cut along the left side of a panel of vellum. The dahlia was adhered to the vellum, then that was adhered to the front of the card, adding adhesive only behind the large bloom.
The sentiment, from the Peruvian Lilies Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, then cut out with its Coordinating Die and trimmed into a narrow strip. They were both popped up with foam adhesive. I added a few Deep Pink Gems to finish it off.
Head over to The Ton’s Blog to check out the entire release and the design team is sharing even more inspiration!!
