A Little Birdie Told Me – Honey Bee

Hello, crafty friends!! I hope you’re doing well!!

I’ve been busy stocking up my stash of birthday cards again!! It seems to be an ongoing thing for me!!

One of my favorite things to do is to combine new release products with older goodies, so that’s what I did for my card today!!

I started by stamping the images from the Grandma’s Garden Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. I colored them with Copics and cut them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts. I also stamped the sentiment from the Little Birdies Stamp Set with the same ink onto white cardstock and cut it out with its Coordinating Die. I thought this sentiment went perfectly with the hummingbird!

Next, I die-cut a panel of white cardstock using the Swirling Leaves Pierced A2 Cover Plate Die, then die-cut it into a circle with the fourth largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Circles Die Set. I die-cut a scalloped circle from dark pink cardstock using the second largest die in the Stitched Scallop Circles Honey Cuts and adhered them together with Bee Creative Glue. The pink patterned paper is from the Birthday Bliss Paper Pad. It was die-cut to A2 size with the largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangle Die Set. I adhered the circles to the right side and trimmed away the excess.

The freesia, humming bird and sentiment die-cuts were all popped up with foam adhesive. I dotted the hummingbird’s eye with a black glaze pen and this one was finished!!

Thank you so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Have a great day and I’ll see you soon!!
