Happy Friday, friends!! It’s release day for the Alex Syberia Designs August Release!! My card today features the Peony Corners Stamp Set, Coordinating Stencils, Coordinating Dies, Whimsical Dots Stencil and the Whimsical Scalloped Frames Die Set!!
I started by stamping the floral images from the Peony Corners Stamp Set onto white cardstock with black ink, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. I added color with the Coordinating Stencil Set using dye inks and blending brushes. I added dots to the centers of the flowers with a yellow gel pen.
For the background, I stenciled the Whimsical Dots Stencil onto white cardstock with aqua dye ink, then cut it out with the largest rectangle die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set. I taped the tow scalloped dies from the Whimsical Scalloped Frames Die Set together and die-cut a frame from white cardstock. It was adhered to the background with liquid glue. The florals die-cuts were also adhered with liquid glue and the excess was trimmed from the edges.
The sentiment is also included in the Peony Corners Stamp Set. It was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam squares. Light pink sequins were sprinkled on to complete the card and add a bit of sparkle.
I can’t wait to color these stunning peonies!!
