Alex Syberia Designs “Christmas In July” Release Blog Hop and Giveaway

Hello, friends and welcome to the Alex Syberia Designs “Christmas In July” Release Blog Hop and Giveaway!! If you arrived here from Bobbi’s Blog, you are right on track!! I’ll have a complete list at the bottom of this post, as well as GIVEAWAY info!! You can always get started over on the Alex Syberia Blog!!

This release is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit!! My card today features the Snowflake Layering Die Set, Sparkly Flakes Cover Die and a sentiment from the Christmas Sentiments Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies!!

I LOVE blue, silver and white for Christmas!! I began by die-cutting the top layer of the Snowflake Layering Die Set from light blue cardstock and the bottom layer from white and silver glitter cardstock. I adhered all the layers together with liquid glue.

Next, I die-cut the Sparkly Flakes Cover Die from royal blue cardstock and splattered it with diluted white gouache. Once it was dry, I adhered the snowflake with foam tape and added a metallic silver thread bow. I secured the end of the thread behind the blue panel, then adhered it to a white card base.

The sentiment, from the Christmas Sentiments Stamp Set, was silver heat embossed onto white cardstock, cut out with it’s Coordinating Die and adhered with foam tape. I added some light blue gems to finish it off.

Your next stop is Cheryl’s blog. Here’s a complete list of stops on the hop:
