Alex Syberia Designs November Collection Blog Hop & Giveaway

Happy Monday, crafty friends!! Welcome to the Alex Syberia Designs November Collection Blog Hop & Giveaway!! If you arrived here from Bonnie’s blog, you’re on the right track. I’ll have your next stop, as well as a complete list of designers and giveaway info, at the end of this post.

My festive holiday card features the Joyful Poinsettia Die Set, Brilliant Burst Hot Foil Plate, along with the Noel Hot Foil Plate and Noel Die!!

I started by die-cutting the Joyful Poinsettia Dies from two shades of pink, red, gold glitter and two shades of aqua cardstock. I stacked all the layers and adhered them together with liquid glue.

For the background, I foiled the Brilliant Burst Hot Foil Plate onto smooth white cardstock using matte gold foil. I trimmed it slightly smaller than A2 and adhered it to a panel of red cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set. I adhered the poinsettia and greenery to the background with liquid glue.

The Noel Hot Foil Plate was foiled onto white cardstock with matte gold foil and cut out with the Noel Die. I also die-cut it three more times from heavyweight white cardstock and once from red cardstock, then stacked and adhered them behind the foiled one. It was adhered to the lower, right area and this card was finished.

Your next stop on the hop is Colleen!!

  1. The colors you chose are gorgeous together. That is my favorite green, and the pinks and reds look amazing with it.

  2. Lovely Christmas card. Love the dark pinks and the gold foiled background die is subtle but striking. Love it. X X
