I have a floral card to share with you today that has a little bit of everything…stamping, watercoloring, die-cutting, embossing and foiling!!
I began by gold heat embossing the florals and leaves from the Happy Blooms Stamp Set onto watercolor paper. After watercoloring them with Karin watercolor markers, I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.
Next, I die-cut a panel of white cardstock with the largest scalloped rectangle die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set, then dry embossed it with the Glowing Geometry Hot Foil Plate. I also die-cut a panel of bright pink cardstock using the largest rectangle in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set. I love that this set includes scalloped and regular rectangle dies!! The two panels were adhered to a white top-folding card base with liquid glue. The flower and leaves were arranged and adhered, also using liquid adhesive.
The sentiment is from the For Her Sentiments Hot Foil Plate Set. It was foiled onto Glimmer cardstock with satin gold foil, cut out with the Coordinating Die, then popped up with foam adhesive. I added lots of satin gold baubles to finish it off.
It was so fun mixing and matching all of these new goodies on this card!!
