Autumn Hugs – Honey Bee

Good morning friends!! I hope you are having a great week!!

I’m in fall and autumn mode around here, as far as colors go…not temperature wise, though! Ha! It is still in the 90’s in the Midwest this week! Although I’m definitely not ready for cold weather, a break in the heat would be nice!

So, back to those autumnal colors…I have a card to share for Honey Bee!!

I just adore the Grateful Heart stamp set!! I finally had a chance to sit down and color it!! I chose a sheet of patterned paper from the Harvest Festival Paper Pad and colored the image with Copic markers to match that sheet of paper. After it was colored, I used the Coordinating Honey Cut to cut it out. The patterned paper was trimmed slightly and matted with a panel of purple cardstock. I added a panel of vellum to the patterned paper and adhered the heart on top with foam adhesive.

“HUGS” was cut from Honey Gold and black cardstock using the Bee Bold Alphabet Honey Cuts. The rest of the sentiment was gold heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut into a strip with the Cut-Align, leaving the curves of some of the letters to be fussy cut. I pulled a few coordinating sequins from the Harvest Festival Sequin Mix for the finishing touch!!

I really love how this gold cardstock looks with these autumn colors!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I’ll see you soon!!!
