Celebrate – Trinity Stamps Wildflower Clippings

Happy Friday, friends!! I hope this week has treated you well!!

I haven’t created many 5″ X 7″ cards, but when Trinity Stamps came out with the Modern Embossed A-7 Layers Dies and A-7 Envelope Builder Dies, I was intrigued!! I must admit, after making this card, I do love the extra real estate to create on! Let’s get to my project!!

I began by die-cutting all of the Wildflower Clippings Dies from white cardstock, then colored them with Copic markers.

Next, I die-cut the largest of the Modern Embossed A-7 Layers Dies and the Slimline Foliage Frame Die from white cardstock. I cut the slimline die-cut in half and adhered it to the top and bottom of the 5″ X 7″ panel, then trimmed off the excess from each side. I love using this die for the background of my floral cards…it adds just the right amount of texture!! The panel was adhered to a white top-folding card base.

For the sentiment, I foiled the Big Celebrate Cut & Foil Die onto white cardstock with Aura Foil and cut it out with the die. I also die-cut that layer three more times and the shadow layer once from white cardstock, then stacked and adhered them together.

From there, I adhered the greenery and leaves to the front panel with liquid adhesive and popped the flowers up with foam tape. I trimmed the flowers away that hung off the edges.

The sentiment was adhered to the center and the card was finished!! I love that I can use this for any occasion that calls for a celebration!!

I wish I could capture the shine from the Aura Foil…the photos just don’t do it justice!!

The envelope was created by die-cutting the A-7 Envelope Builder Dies from pink and white cardstock and pink polka-dot patterned paper. I LOVE creating matching envelopes and now that I have the A-7 Envelope Builder Dies, maybe I’ll make more A7 cards!!

Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll see you soon!!!
