Hello, friends and happy weekend!! We are supposed to have snow this weekend, so I will be staying warm in my craft room or cuddled up on the couch watching some football!! Either way, I don’t plan on going out in the cold!! Is it Spring yet? Ha!!

I have a mini slimline card to share with you today featuring the Be Bold Color Block Congrats Dies from Spellbinders!!

This die set really makes creating a mini slimline card so simple!! I simply cut the letters from rainbow colors of cardstock. I also cut two more layers from heavyweight white cardstock and adhered them behind the colored ones. This gave the letters dimension and made them “pop” off the background. I adhered the letters to a slimline panel of black cardstock, then to a white slimline card base.

“Yay!” was die cut from a cool, block holographic cardstock that I found in my stash. I LOVE holographic cardstock paired with rainbow colors!! I also die-cut a couple of layers of white cardstock to stack behind the holographic ones, then adhered them across the “congrats” die-cut letters.

Easy peasy!! This would also be amazing die-cut from coordinating patterned paper!!
