Congratulations – Festive Balloons – Trinity Stamps

Hello everyone!! Happy Thursday!! I have a project for Trinity Stamps to share with you today.

I used to own a retail store and one of the services that we provided was balloon bouquets and delivery. Balloons are so festive and great for any occasion! I loved delivering a bouquet of happiness to the recipient!! So, whenever there are balloons included in a stamp set, I am naturally drawn to them. I have a colorful Congratulations card to share with you today.

I began by stamping the balloons and the Congratulations sentiment from the Decorate A Cake stamp set onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. After coloring the balloons with Copic markers, I cut them out with the Decorate A Cake Coordinating Dies. I cut down a panel of glossy cardstock and pulled out three Distress Oxide Inks that closely matched the colors of my balloons: Salty Ocean, Picked Raspberry & Mustard Seed. I “ink smooshed” each color onto the background, being sure to dry in between each color. I applied a thin layer of Ranger Distress Micro Glaze over the entire panel and buffed it off. This really brings out all of the layers! Next, I trimmed the panel slightly and matted it with black cardstock before adhering it to an A2 cardbase. I popped up the sentiment and balloons with foam adhesive and applied a little Clear Wink of Stella and white gel pen to the balloons. Lastly, a sprinkling of Rock Candy Confetti Mix completes the card.

That’s it for me today!! Look for some exciting things from Trinity Stamps starting next week!!

I’ll see you soon!!!
