Fall Floral Happy Birthday – Trinity Stamps

Good morning friends!! We have yet to have fall temperatures in the Midwest, but I am looking forward to the leaves changing!! I wanted to create a fall-inspired birthday card today, so I pulled out the Spring Fling Florals from Trinity Stamps and colored them in autumnal colors!!

I began by stamping the flowers and leaves from Spring Fling Florals onto the top and bottom of a panel of Bristol paper with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink, masking the images as I went. I watercolored them with Zig Clean Color Markers and added details with colored pencils. I splattered on a little diluted purple ink with a paint brush.

I trimmed each side of the panel slightly and added it to a purple cardstock panel. A thin strip of white pearlescent cardstock was added to each side. For the greeting, “happy” was cut from purple cardstock and white pearlescent cardstock using the Happy Senti-Mini Die Set. “Birthday”, from the Happy Senti-Mini Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto a purple cardstock strip and adhered with foam tape. I added a little white gouache to the center of the blooms. A sprinkling of Royal Velvet Confetti Mix finishes off the card.

I LOVE the way this turned out!! Who says the Spring Fling Florals can only be used in the spring?

Thanks so much for spending a bit of time with me today!! I’ll see you soon!!
