Flying Across the Miles with a Birthday Wish – Honey Bee Stamps

Hello, my friends and happy Tuesday!! I have a birthday card to share today featuring the Lovely Layers: Hummingbird Honey Cuts and the Squared Spring Florals Stencil Set from the latest Honey Bee Stamps release!!

I started by stenciling the Squared Spring Florals Stencil Set onto a panel of white cardstock with dye inks and Beeluxe Detail Blending Brushes. I splattered it with diluted Intense Black Ink and a paint brush. Once dry, the second largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangles Die Set was used to cut it out. It was then adhered to a panel of aqua cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the Sweet Stacks: Rectangle Die Set.

Next, I die-cut the Lovely Layers: Hummingbird Dies from white cardstock and added shading with dye inks and the Beeluxe Detail Blending Brushes. A black marker was used to color the beak and eye. I added some shimmer to parts of the hummingbird by painting on diluted Bee Creative Liquid Shimmer Watercolor, then adhered all the pieces together with Bee Creative Glue, once they were dry.

The sentiment, from the Across the Miles Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. The sentiment and the hummingbird were both popped up with foam tape. Pearls from the Celebration Pearl Sticker Pack finish off the card.

I absolutely LOVE how this turned out and hope you do, as well!!

That’ll do it for me!! Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful week!!
