FORE!!! – The Ton

Happy Friday!!! If you have golf-lovers in your life like I do, you NEED these new golf sets from The Ton!! They are amazing!!

The first card I have to share uses the Golf Course Layering Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies

This is such a fantastic set…you can achieve a lot of depth with just the stamp, or really make it pop with the addition of the dies. I did place my dies so I wouldn’t have the white edge along the bushes and the actual golf course, so my card base was cut down to about 4 inches in height.

I began by ink blending Blue Diamond Ink onto a Bristol cardstock panel. I stamped the ocean and waves with Blue Diamond, Cali Blue & Parisian Blue. The clouds were also stamped with Cali Blue & Parisian Blue Inks. The fairways were stamped with Deep Emerald & Everglade Moss. I used Soft Garden & Bright Fern Inks for the green and bushes. Warm Hazelnut and Found Topaz Inks were used to stamp the sand traps. The Coordinating Dies were then used to cut out all the elements. I did fussy cut the green, as I also wanted to pop that up off of the fairway. A few of the silhouette images included in the stamp set were stamped with Noir Ink. Dimensional adhesive was used to pop up all the layers…this card has so much dimension!! I am in LOVE with this sentiment…it was heat embossed in white on a strip of black cardstock.

My second card uses the Golf Therapy stamp set and Coordinating Dies

For this card, I started off by stamping the LOVE (without the O) from Golf Therapy onto white cardstock with Valentine Red ink. The panel was cut with the largest die from the Double Stitched Rectangle Die (Small). The thin outline from the Heart Jigsaw Die was cut from red cardstock and adhered onto the panel around the LOVE. The golf ball was stamped using Crystal Pewter Ink on all four layers…it looks so dimensional!! The golf ball was die-cut and placed onto the card panel with dimensional adhesive. The rest of the sentiment was white heat embossed onto black cardstock strips, then they were also popped onto foam adhesive. A sprinkling of Glass Slippers Round Confetti Mix completes the card nicely.

That’s it for me today!! See you on Monday for Day 1 of The Ton’s New Spring Release!! You don’t want to miss it!!!

Have a wonderful weekend!!!
