Hello, crafters and happy Monday!! I hope you all had a great weekend!! I’m sharing a friendship card featuring the Floral Trio Die Set from Alex Syberia Designs!! I turned to the internet to find a color combo that I wanted to work with. My go-to colors are pink and purple and I wanted something a little different today!! I love how it turned out!!

I started by die-cutting the flowers and leaves in the Floral Trio Die Set from white cardstock. I used dye inks in shades of peach, orange, aqua, teal and yellow to add shading and details with blending brushes. Once the link was dry, the layers of the flowers were adhered together with liquid glue.

For the background, I foiled the Floral Trio Press + Foil Plate onto a panel of white cardstock using Prism Foil and the Glimmer System. I blended the same dye inks that I used on the leaves onto the panel, adding the darker color around the outside and fading to the lighter in the center. The panel was die-cut with the second largest rectangle die in the Good Day Quilted Rectangle Die Set and splattered with diluted white watercolor paint. I also splattered the flowers and leaves with the same paint. I trimmed a panel of white cardstock slightly larger than the foiled panel and adhered it to a panel of yellow cardstock that was die-cut with the largest die in the Nested Scalloped Frames Die Set.

The top layer of the sentiment, from the Delicate Frame & Friend Die Set, was die-cut four times from white cardstock. I blended one of the layers with the same peach and orange dye inks that were used on the flowers, light at the top and darker at the bottom. The shadow layer was die-cut from shimmer vellum and white cardstock. All the layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue, then adhered to the front of the card. The flowers were popped up with foam tape and the leaves were adhered with liquid glue to finish off the card.

That does it for me today!! Thank you so much for spending a bit of your Monday with me!! Have a wonderful week!!
