Hello, crafty friends!! I’m sharing another masculine card featuring the Lovely Layers: Mancave Die Set from the Honey Bee Stamps Foundry & Field Release!! My hubby’s birthday is next month and this is perfect for him, although he will be at a fishing tournament on his birthday…ha!!

I began by embossing a panel of white cardstock with the Rustic Brick Wall 3D Embossing Folder. I swiped gray and tan dye inks directly onto the raised areas of the panel to add color to the bricks and leave the grout white. I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to an A2 card base. The floor was trimmed from a piece of pattern paper from the Urban Roots Paper Pad and adhered across the bottom of the panel. I trimmed a thin strip of black cardstock and adhered it over the seam for the “trim”.

Next, I die-cut all the pieces for the scene using the Lovely Layers: Mancave Die Set. The bar was die-cut from patterned paper in the Urban Roots Paper Pad, brown and black cardstock and the bar stools from brown and black cardstock. The lights were cut from light gray cardstock and I colored the bottom layer with a yellow Copic marker and blended black ink onto the shades with a detail blending brush. To make the stems of the lights longer, the pool sticks were cut from matte gold cardstock and adhered between the two layers of the light, trimming the excess from the top o the panel. The TV was cut from dark gray and black cardstock, the plants from green cardstock and the planters from matte gold. I added some darker dye ink onto the leaves of the plants so the embossed details would stand out. The beer mugs were cut from gray and white cardstock and the beer itself was blended with a couple of yellow dye inks using a detail blending brush. All the die-cuts were assembled with Bee Creative Glue, then added to the background to create the scene.

The sentiments were created with the Game Time Stamp Set. They were stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink, cut out with the Coordinating Dies, then popped up with foam squares. The beer mugs were also adhered with foam squares and this card was finished.

I LOVE how this turned out and hope you do, as well!! I added the sentiment to the TV…I know that’s where my husband’s eyes would be glued to if he was in this mancave…lol!!
Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!
