Hello, fellow crafters!! I’m sharing a festive birthday card featuring the Tiny Clown and Tiny Balloon Assortment Die Sets from Trinity Stamps today!!

I started by lightly stenciling the Superstar Stencils onto an A2 panel of white cardstock with red and yellow dye inks using Blending Buddy Brushes. The panel was die-cut with the second largest die in the A2 Clean Cut Layers Rectangle Set A Die Set. A panel of dark blue cardstock was die-cut with the largest die in the same die set and the stenciled panel was adhered to it with liquid glue.

Next, I die-cut the elements for the clown and the balloons from blush, red, orange, yellow, blue, white and black cardstock using the Tiny Clown and Tiny Balloon Assortment Die Sets. I added shading to the die-cuts with dye inks and Shading Sidekick Brushes. The die-cuts were adhered together with liquid glue, except the clown’s nose…it was popped up with a tiny foam square. I figured out placement for the clown and balloons, then drew in the strings with a black fine-tip marker.

The sentiment was created with a combination of the Simply Sentimental: Happy Stamps & Coordinating Dies and the Simply Sentimental: Birthday Stamp Set. “Happy” was stamped onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink and colored with alcohol markers, using two of each color to create an ombre, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. “Birthday” was stamped onto white cardstock with blue dye ink and cut out with a die from the Simply Sentimental Strips Die Set.

The clown, balloons and sentiment were all popped up with foam squares.

I added highlights with a white gel pen.

A sprinkling of Gold Star Embellishments adds a bit of shine and finishes off the card.

That does it for me today!! Thank you so much for stopping by!! I’ll see you next week!!
