Happy Friday, fellow crafters!! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!! My hubby is participating in a fishing tournament, so I plan to spend A LOT of time crafting!! My card today combines several sets from the amazing Pretty Pink Posh latest release!!

I began by creating the background by blending Kitsch Flamingo, Scattered Straw, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Tumbled Glass and Shaded Lilac Distress Inks onto an A2 panel of white cardstock using blending brushes. The panel was die-cut with the largest die in the Eyelet Rectangles Die Set, then adhered to a white A2 card base.

Both layers of the Decorative Easter Egg Die Set were cut from white cardstock. I also die-cut the solid layer from heavyweight vellum and adhered it behind the decorative one to mute the background a bit. It was adhered to the background with liquid glue.

The sentiment was created with the Large Easter Shadow Die Set, Easter Banner Greetings Stamp Set and the Banner Greetings 2 Die Set. I blended the same Distress Inks that I used on the background onto another piece of white cardstock. The top layer of the Large Easter Shadow Die Set was cut from it, along with two more layers from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut twice from heavyweight white cardstock. The layers were stacked and adhered together, then adhered across the egg with liquid glue. “Happy Easter”, from the Easter Banner Greetings Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide Ink. It was die-cut with the scalloped banner die in the Banner Greetings 2 Die Set and popped up with foam strips.
I wanted to fill the open areas at the end of the banner, so I turned to the Springtime Holder Additions Die Set. This die set has sooo many adorable dies for spring cards!! The small flowers and leaves were die-cut from white cardstock and blended with some of the same Distress Inks that I used on the background. The tiny centers of the flowers were cut from yellow cardstock to avoid ink-blending on those tiny pieces. They were adhered together, then added to the ends of the banner with liquid glue. I added Star Dust Stickles to the centers of the flowers and the circles on the egg to add a bit of sparkle.

That does it for me today!! Have a great weekend and I’ll see you back here tomorrow!!
Take care!!
