Happy Fall Y’all – Honey Bee Stamps

Hello, crafters!! I hope your week started off well!! I have a fall card featuring the Lovely Layers: Maple Leaf Honey Cuts, along with a few previously released goodies from Honey Bee Stamps!!

I began by die-cutting the solid layer of the Lovely Layers: Maple Leaf three times from watercolor paper. I swiped several colors of Distress Inks (Seedless Preserves, Fired Brick, Rusty Hinge, Peeled Paint and Mustard Seed) onto my glass mat, spritzed them with water, then smooshed the leaves into the ink. When they were mostly dry, I splattered them with diluted Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Ink, along with Bee Creative Metallic Gold Ink. The top layer of the Lovely Layers: Maple Leaf Die was cut three times from gold glitter cardstock.

For the background, I die-cut the Burlap A2 Cover Plate Die from ivory cardstock and adhered it to a panel of the same ivory cardstock, which was die-cut with the largest die in the Sweet Stacks Rectangle Die Set, for a tone-on-tone look. I also splattered the background with the same diluted Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Inks, along with Bee Creative Metallic Gold Pigment Ink. Once dry, the leaves were adhered to the background with Bee Creative Glue, offsetting the top layers. The excess was trimmed from each side.

The sentiment was created with a combination of the Fall Buzzwords Stamp Set and Coordinating Honey Cuts. “Fall” was cut from ivory and brown cardstock and the rest of the sentiment was stamped onto ivory cardstock with brown ink and cut into narrow strips. The entire sentiment was popped up with foam tape. Gems, from the Grain and Grunge Gem Sticker Pack, complete the card and add a bit more sparkle.

That’ll do it for me today!! Have a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon!!
