Have A Jolly Fa La La Llamaday – Honey Bee

Hello everyone!! I have a project for Honey Bee Stamps today. I just LOVE punny sentiments!! I also love combining older products with new ones, to get the most bang for my buck. Today’s project checks both of those boxes!!

How fun is this? As soon as I saw the Fa La La stamp set, I knew that I wanted to combine it with the llama from No Probllama. Llamas are still so trendy!! I went shopping a couple of weeks ago, and they are EVERYWHERE!!

Let’s get to my card!! I began by running the Geometric Background Stencil and white cardstock through my die-cutting machine with an embossing pad. This created a debossed look and created some fun dimension for my background panel without distracting from the main elements. The Deckle Edge A2 Honey Cuts were used to cut a frame from red glitter paper. It was adhered to the background panel with foam adhesive. I stamped the llama, sombrero and blanket from No Probllama onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. After coloring them with Copic markers, they were die-cut using the No Probllama Honey Cuts and adhered with foam adhesive. The “fa la la” was cut from red glitter paper using the Fa La La Honey Cuts. It was adhered directly to the background panel with liquid adhesive. “LLama”, from No Probllama, was stamped onto black cardstock with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. It was then cut out with the No Probllama Honey Cuts. The remainder of the sentiment is from Fa La La, and was white heat embossed onto black cardstock strips. The sentiment was adhered as shown using more foam tape. Finally, some Ruby Slippers Nuvo Glitter Drops and Green Stickles add some sparkle to the sombrero and blanket and a pop of color to the background.

That’ll do it for me today!! I hope this punny card put a smile on your face!!

I’ll see you soon!!
