Heffy Friends Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to the Heffy Friends Blog Hop! Today we are celebrating our love of all things Heffy Doodle with some great inspiration and a giveaway, too!

I created a rainbow Christmas card featuring the Trim the Tree Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies, Happy Holidays Sentiment Stamp Set and the Snow Storm Stencil.

I began by stamping the tree, lights and holly from the Trim the Tree Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I colored them with Copics and used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out. The lights were adhered to the tree with liquid glue.

Next, I stenciled the Snow Storm Stencil onto white cardstock using Distress Oxide Inks in rainbow colors. I trimmed the panel slightly and added it to an A2 panel of black cardstock. I stamped the little stars from the Happy Holidays Sentiments Stamp Set onto a white scalloped rectangle with the same Distress Oxide Inks and adhered it to the center of the snowflake panel.

The sentiment, also from the Happy Holidays Sentiment Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and fussy cut. I popped the tree, sentiment and holly up with foam adhesive to finish off the card.
