Hello Bluebird Guest Designer

Hello, friends and welcome back for my second post today!!

I am over the moon excited to be guest designing for the Hello Bluebird latest release!! I had to pinch myself when I read the message asking me to be a guest designer!! I have always been a huge fan, so it really is an honor to work with these adorable products and extremely talented design team!!

The amazing May release will be available in the Hello Bluebird Shop on May 6th at 7:00 pm MST.

Anyway, today is Preview Day 1 for the new release and I’m so excited to share a slimline card featuring the Summer Woods Scene Die and the Pig Out Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies!!

I die-cut the Summer Woods Scene Die from bristol smooth cardstock, inked on some Distress Oxide Inks, then added some details with Copic markers. I ran the die through my die-cut machine again, only this time I used an embossing mat to emboss the background onto bristol cardstock. I added Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink to the embossed background, then adhered the die-cuts to it. The embossed lines made it really easy to see where to adhere them. The sentiment, from the Pig Out Stamp Set was stamped onto the background panel with Versafine Onyx Black Ink.

The absolutely adorable images from the Pig Out stamp set were stamped onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly ink, then colored with Copics. After cutting them out with the Coordinating Dies, they were adhered with foam adhesive, for added dimension. I added some highlights with a white gel pen and used a black glaze pen on the eyes for a bit of shine.

Thanks so much for spending a bit of time with me today!! Be sure to visit the Hello Bluebird Blog for more previews from the amazing design team and other guests!!

Mark your calendar for May 6th at 7:00 pm MST!!!

Have a great day!!
