Hello Friend – Daisies – Honey Bee

Hello, friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!!

I have a fun friendship card to share with you today for Honey Bee Stamps!!!! I absolutely LOVE daisies…they are definitely one of my favorite flowers!! So, when I saw the Flower Centers Coverplate Die, I immediately thought of daisies!!!

I began by ink-blending Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxides onto Bristol Smooth cardstock, leaving a highlight area in the center and working out to the darker color around the edges. Once dry, I die-cut the panel with the Flower Petal Coverplate and cut the Flower Centers Coverplate from white cardstock. I layered the die-cut panels over a panel of bright yellow cardstock and then adhered it to an A2 size cardbase. I also added a thin white frame that was die-cut using the A2 Thin Frames Honey Cuts.

I die-cut “friend” four times from navy cardstock and once from white cardstock with the Friend Honey Cuts. “Hello”, from the Friend Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto a navy cardstock strip. The Spring Bouquets Honey Cuts were used to create daisies from yellow and white cardstock. They were popped up with foam adhesive and frame the sentiment nicely, while reinforcing the daisy theme!!

Coverplate dies really make it so easy to create a card that looks like it took you forever to make!!

Thanks for hanging out with me today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!!
