Hi Color Block Card – Crafty Meraki

Hello, fellow crafters and happy Wednesday!! I have a card to share with you for Crafty Meraki today!! This week we’re featuring color-blocked cards and, I must admit, this is a bit out of my comfort zone!! But I love the way it turned out!!

I began by die-cutting the slim frames from aqua and purple cardstock. You can also die-cut and stack squares, if you don’t have similar dies to this. Next, adhered the frames to copy paper, then trimmed them diagonal, from corner to corner. They were adhered to a panel of black cardstock, adding some space between each of the quadrants, then adhered to a white A2 card base.

The layers of the Meraki Moments Hi Para-Dies were cut from black and white cardstock and vellum. They were stacked and adhered together, then adhered to the color-blocked square with liquid glue.

The Meraki Moments Hi Stamp Set was stamped onto black cardstock and embossed with white embossing powder. It was trimmed into a narrow strip and popped up at the bottom of the card with foam adhesive. A trio of Ebony Opal Gems finish off the card and balance out the design.

Thanks so much for spending a bit of your Wednesday with me!! Have a great day and I’ll see you soon!!
