Holiday Mini Slimline Gift Card Holder – Crafty Meraki

Hello there!! Brenda from MyPaperCutCreations here with you today!! I have a fun, festive mini slimline gift card holder to share with you!!

I began by stamping the holly image in the Christmas Miracle Stamp Set onto two panels of white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I cut the panels with the Merry Slimline Tag Die Set, being sure to cut them so that the holly is in opposite corners of the tags.

I trimmed the tag that was to be used as the pocket and adhered it to the slimline tag only along the outside edges with strong adhesive.

The bow was die-cut from white cardstock with a die from the Take A Bow Again Die Set. I colored it with Copics, then adhered it to the top of the tag with liquid glue. The sentiment, from the Magical Christmas Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto red cardstock, then cut out with a small circle die. It was adhered to the front of the tag, placing liquid adhesive only on the pocket portion of the tag.

You could even attach a ribbon through the hole and hang it on the Christmas tree!! How fun would that be?!?

Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Have a great Thursday!!

  1. Love the idea so much.it is dainty. I also have to give three gift certificates. I will take your idea and adopt it to suit my requirement. Two are for males. I am yet to see whether they will like my design.
