Hoppy Easter – Honey Bee

Hello, friends!! Can you believe that Easter is this Sunday? I’m so excited to spend some much-needed time with family!! I’m squeezing in one more Easter card for Honey Bee Stamps today!!

I started by stamping the bunny and flowers from the Easter Buddies stamp set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them with Copics and cut them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts.

Next, I die-cut a circle from white cardstock using the middle sized die in the Double Stitched Circles Honey Cut Set. Using the Grassy Hills Border Stencil and a blending brush, I inked on some Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink for the ground. I added some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide in the center of the circle with another blending brush for the sky.

I die-cut the scalloped elements from pink cardstock using the Scallop A2 Card Frames and Stitched Scallop Circles. I trimmed the pink gingham patterned paper from the Playful Pastels Paper Pad to fit inside the scalloped rectangle and adhered the pink polka dot ribbon to it. The circles were adhered to the right side of the gingham panel and the excess was trimmed off. The flowers were adhered with liquid adhesive and the bunny was popped up with foam tape.

The sentiment, from Hoppy Easter, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, then cut out with the Hoppy Easter Honey Cuts. It was also popped up with foam adhesive. I added a hand-tied bow and a white pom-pom for the bunny tail and I was finished!

Thanks so much for dropping by today!! Have a wonderful week and a very blessed Easter!!
