How’s It Growing – Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Tuesday, crafty friends!! How’s It Growing? This beautiful weather here in Missouri has me itching to get some flowers planted and growing!! However, they say to wait until after Mother’s Day to avoid the risk of frost (which we had on Sunday night)!! At least I can grow paper plants with the Lovely Layers: Herb Garden Dies from Honey Bee Stamps, right?!?

I started by die-cutting the elements in the Lovely Layers: Herb Garden Honey Cuts from white cardstock and frosted silver cardstock. I colored the plants and buckets with Copic markers, then adhered them all together with Bee Creative Glue.

For the background, I die-cut the Garden Lattice Cover Plate – Base and Garden Lattice Cover Plate – Top from white cardstock and layered them over a panel of light blue pattern paper from the Textiles & Textures: Celebrate Paper Pad. The oval die-cut is from the Fancy Fall Layering Frames Die Set. It was die-cut from white cardstock and adhered to the center of the background with Bee Creative Glue. The plants were arranged and adhered, also using liquid glue.

The sentiment, from the Squeeze the Day Stamp Set, was stamped onto black cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink, embossed with white embossing powder and cut out with its Coordinating Die. I also die-cut three more layers from heavyweight white cardstock, adhered them behind the stamped one, then adhered it over the middle bucket.

How perfect is this sentiment for this die set?!? I love it!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!
