Hugs and Kisses Sweet Treat Box -Honey Bee

Happy Tuesday, friends!! I hope you are having a great week!!

I have the cutest little treat box from Honey Bee to share with you today!! The Sweet Treat Box Honey Cuts makes creating these little boxes so simple!! How cute would these be for a child’s classroom? (Or anyone really!) I would love to receive one of these!! I chose to fill mine with Hershey’s Hugs & Kisses (hence the sentiment), but you could put any small gift inside!!

I began by die-cutting the pieces of the box from heavyweight white cardstock with the Sweet Treat Box Honey Cuts. You will need to cut the bottom one time and each side piece twice. I sprayed the Fluttering Hearts Stencil (the smallest heart pattern) with Pixie Spray and laid them over the sides to my box. The Pixie Spray held the stencil in place as I blended Festive Berries Distress Oxide over it with a blending brush.

After the ink was dry, I used a bone folder to crease the score lines that were created with the dies, folded and adhered them all together with strong adhesive. The Sweet Treat Box also comes with several scalloped, pierced and regular rectangles that you can die-cut to fit on the side and top of the box. I chose two and die-cut them from red and white cardstock.

Next, I die-cut “kisses” from red glitter and white cardstock with the Kisses Honey Cuts, layered them, adhered them to the largest rectangle and then to the front of the box. “Hugs and”, from the Kisses Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto the smaller rectangle and adhered to the top of the box. A couple of heart die-cuts, cut from red glitter and white cardstock with the Heart Honey Cuts, were adhered next to the heat embossed sentiment.

I filled the box with candy and tied a red ribbon bow through the little hearts at the top!!

That’s it!! So simple but so adorable!! You could totally use this box for any occasion!! It would be perfect for party favor boxes for a birthday party…the possibilities are endless!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead and I’ll see you soon!!
