Hugs – I Really Miss You – Honey Bee

Hey there friends!! I have a bright and cheerful card to share using some new products from Honey Bee that is sure to brighten anyone’s day!!

Mandala-1

I began by creating my background…I die-cut a sheet of Bristol paper with the largest of the Double Stitched Squares Honey Cuts. Next, I taped off each section and ink blended Distress Oxide Inks onto the masked area. I used Wilted VioletPicked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Salty Ocean. I die-cut the Mandala Honey Cuts three times from white cardstock, stacked and adhered them together. (I used spray adhesive.) “HUGS” was cut using the Bee Bold Alphabet Honey Cuts. I cut each letter three times fromwhite cardstock, once from silver glitter paper and one time from black cardstock. I stacked and adhered them together with the glitter paper on top and the black cardstock on the bottom. I slightly off-set the black cardstock to create a drop shadow. The rest of the sentiment is from the Missing You stamp set. It was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut out with the Coordinating Honey Cut and adhered with foam adhesive. The square panel was matted with black cardstock and silver paper to tie in with the die-cut letters. Lastly, Clear Crystal Gem Stickers add some bling to the mandala!

  1. Such a beauty! I have so much to ask you Brenda – like how long have you been making cards, what led you into making cards, have you always been this talented or did you learn from watching tutorials? You are truly inspiring. Gosh!

    1. Oh Amanda…how sweet of you!!❤️ I have been making cards for about 3 1/2 years. I have always had an artistic side & actually started scrapbooking about 15 years ago. This involved buying stamps, which eventually led to cardmaking. I do enjoy watching YouTube videos from other card makers. Thanks again for your kind words…you seriously made my day!!🤗

      1. Thank you soo much for answering Brenda. I have never done scrap booking but the other day I was writing in my journal and actual thought of stamping it, so I might give it a try. Glad to know you watch others as well. You are always welcome dear – anytime!
