Hello, friends!! I hope you’re having a great week, so far!!
I’m sharing a card today for the new Sweet Shop Release from Trinity Stamps that will be available on January 25th!! It’s full of SWEET treats to make your Valentine’s projects a breeze, but general enough to be used year-round!! My card today features the Port-hello Stamp Set!!
I began by stamping the mushroom image from the Porta-hello Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored it with Copics and fussy cut it out. (The Coordinating Dies are available, but I didn’t have them yet, so I cut it out with my scissors.) I added highlights with a white gel pen. I also white heat embossed the sentiment from the same set onto black cardstock and fussy cut it out.
Next, I die-cut the A2 Quilted Cover Plate Die from white cardstock and the largest heart in the Nested Heart Die Set from a piece of patterned paper in the All Heart Slimline Paper Pad.
I blended Candy Apple Distress Oxide Ink onto the quilted panel using the heart stencil in the Quilted Pattern Trio Stencil Set and a Blending Buddy brush.
The heart die-cut was adhered to the quilted panel.
The mushroom image and sentiment were both popped up with foam adhesive.
I just love this sentiment!! It’s so perfect with the mushrooms!!
Are you a mushroom lover? They are one of my favorite foods!! For most people I know, they are either a “heck yes” or “no way”…there’s not much in between…ha!! Which are you?

Hola, Brenda! Gorgeous card and colors. When I was a kid (in the 70’s) I remember mushrooms were big. My mother had them everywhere so I am mushroomed out. 😂😂😂 Unless we’re talking pizza.
