I Hope Your Birthday Is Stacked With Good Things – Honey Bee Stamps

Happy Tuesday, friends!! I’m sharing a birthday card featuring a few of the goodies from the Honey Bee Stamps Chapter & Charm Mini Release!! This is perfect to wish any book-lover an amazing birthday!!

I began by die-cutting the books, bookmarks, twine, flower and foliage in the Lovely Layers: Stacked Stories Honey Cut Set from cream cardstock. I added color and shading to the die-cuts using the Story Labels Stencil Set, dye inks and blending brushes.

Once the ink was completely dry, I stamped the sentiments from the Mini Messages: Everyday Stamp Set onto the spines of the books with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and embossed them with white detail embossing powder. A white gel pen was used to add some detail where the debossed lines are. I adhered all the die-cuts together with Bee Creative Glue, then set it aside to work on the background.

I chose to use the script pattern paper included in the Chapter and Charm Cardmaking Kit for my background. The detail layer of the book from the Little Library A2 Cover Plate Die, included in the Chapter and Charm Kit, was embossed onto a panel of vellum. The stack of books was adhered to the vellum with Bee Creative Glue, then the vellum was adhered to the pattern paper, adding glue only behind the die-cuts.

The sentiment, from the Novel Sentiments Stamp Set (also included in the Chapter and Charm Kit), was stamped onto cream cardstock with gray dye ink to match the pattern paper. It was cut out with the Coordinating Die, then popped up in the upper right corner with foam squares. A trio of True Pearls Pearl Stickers finishes off the card.

That does it for me today!! Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by!! I appreciate your time!!

Have a great week!!
