Hello, friends and happy Thursday!! I’m sharing an egg shaped birthday card featuring the Egg-Shaped Card Die Set and the Egg-ceptional Sentiments Stamps & Coordinating Dies from Trinity Stamps today!!

I started by die-cutting the card base from heavyweight black cardstock using a die from the Egg-Shaped Card Die Set. It was folded along the score line and reinforced with a teflon folding tool.

Next, I die-cut the largest oval twice from white cardstock and the yolk from yellow cardstock using dies from the same die set. I added some shading to one of the eggs with Tea Dye Distress Ink and the yolk with Mustard Seed and Wild Honey using Blending Buddy Brushes. I covered the yolk with Glossy Accents then set it aside to dry.

Once it was dry, I adhered it to the white layer and splattered it with diluted black paint to mimic pepper. I added a bit of glue in places and sprinkled on Rock Candy Glitter so it looked like salt. It was then adhered to the egg-shaped card base.

The sentiment, from the Egg-ceptional Sentiments Stamp Set, were stamped onto white cardstock with black pigment ink and cut out with their Coordinating Dies.

I also die-cut the same dies from black cardstock and adhered them behind the stamped ones, slightly offset. They were adhered to the front of the card with liquid glue.

I did the same for the sentiment on the inside of the card.

That yolk looks so realistic with the Glossy Accents on it!!

Thank you so much for spending part of your day with me!!
Have a wonderful Thursday!!
