Happy Thursday, crafty friends!! I’m sharing a colorful card featuring the I Lava You and Tiny Island Die Sets from Trinity Stamps!!

I started by ink blending Distress Inks onto an A2 panel of white cardstock with Blending Buddy Brushes to create the sunset. I used Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves and Villainous Potion. The panel was die-cut with the second largest die in the A2 Rectangles Clean Cut Layers Die Set A and adhered to a white top-folding card base.

The wave dies from the Tiny Island Die Set were die-cut from white cardstock and blended with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink using a Blending Buddy Brush. They were splattered with diluted white bleed-proof ink, then adhered to the bottom of the sunset background.

The sentiment is from the I Lava You Die Set. The top layer was cut once from black and tan cardstock and two times from heavyweight white cardstock. The shadow layer was cut twice from heavyweight white cardstock. I blended a bit of Vintage Photo Distress Ink onto the volcano with a Shading Sidekick and splattered it with diluted Vintage Photo Ink. The lava was cut from red cardstock, then all of the layers were stacked and adhered together with liquid glue and adhered to the background.

The island and trees in the Tiny Island Die Set were cut from green and tan cardstock. I blended those with Vintage Photo, Mowed Lawn and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks using Shading Sidekick Brushes, then splattered the island and trunks with diluted Vintage Photo Ink. The island and tree trunks were adhered with liquid glue and the palm fronds were popped up with foam squares.

A sprinkling of Crystal Twilight Rhinestones was the perfect finishing touch.
