Hello, crafty friends!! I’m sharing this fall card featuring the Scarecrow Mini Album Die Set from the Scrap Diva Designs new release!! I created a card with the die set instead of a mini album. It measures 4″ wide by 7″ tall, so I would mail it in a 5″x7″ envelope.

I started by die-cutting all the elements for the scarecrow from yellow, cream, kraft, brown, orange and black cardstock and patterned paper using the Scarecrow Mini Album Die Set. I added shading with dye inks and blending brushes, then adhered everything together with liquid glue.

For the background, I die-cut a panel of patterned paper and orange cardstock using the fourth and fifth largest dies in the 5×8 Scalloped Nested Rectangle Die Set. The were adhered to a 7″x4″ card base. The scarecrow was adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment was stamped onto brown cardstock with clear embossing ink and embossed with white embossing powder. After cutting it out with the coordinating die, it was popped up with foam tape. I tied some twine into a bow and adhered it, along with a sunflower embellishment that I found in my stash, to the hat to finish off the card.

Isn’t he just adorable?!? He would be so cute as a mini album, as well!!
