Hello, friends and happy Labor Day to those of you in the US!! I hope you’re enjoying the long weekend!! We spent some time in the pool, not the beach like these little bunnies on my card today!! However, any weekend that involves sunshine and water is ok in my book!! We’re enjoying the last bit of summer, while we can!!

I began by stamping the images and sentiment from the Summer Chill Stamp Set onto white cardstock with black Copic-friendly ink. I colored it with Copic markers and used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.

For the background, I blended Mustard Seed Distress Ink through the Sun Rays Stencil onto the top of an A2 panel white cardstock using a blending brush. The Glistening Water Stencil was blended onto another panel of white cardstock with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink. Once the stencil was removed, I lightly blended a bit more ink to cover the white cardstock, then tore the top edge to expose the white core of the cardstock. It was splattered with white bleed-proof ink and set aside to dry. Vintage Photo Distress Ink was blended onto another panel of white cardstock and I tore the top edge of this panel in the other direction so the white core wasn’t showing. It was splattered with diluted Vintage Photo Distress Ink and white bleed-proof ink. Once all the ink was dry, then panels were adhered together with liquid glue. All of the sweet images were adhered to the background, also using liquid glue.

The sentiment was popped up at the bottom with an adhesive foam strip. I darkened the bunnies’ eyes with a black glaze pen and added highlights with a white gel pen to finish off the card.
