Let’s Hang Out Soon – Honey Bee

Hello, crafty friends!! I hope your week is off to a great start!!

I have a fun scene card to share with you today!! The Let’s Hang Out stamp set is sooooo adorable!! It’s one of my favorites from Honey Bee’s latest Autumn Afternoon Release & I can’t believe that it’s taken me this long to use it!! It’s absolutely perfect for fall cards and I’m sure we all have people that we want to hang out with soon!!

I began by stamping the images from Let’s Hang Out onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. After coloring them with Copics, I cut them out with the Coordinating Honey Cuts.

For the background, I ink-blended two panels of bristol smooth cardstock. One with Salty Ocean, Picked Raspberry & Mustard Seed Distress Oxide Ink, and the other with Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron. I splattered some diluted Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink onto the green panel and die-cut it with a die from the Horizon Slimline Borders Set, then adhered it to the other panel.

The sentiment, also from Let’s Hang Out, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock and cut out with the Coordinating Die. The corn stalks and sunflowers were adhered with liquid glue, while the scarecrows, birds and sentiment were popped up with foam tape.

Thanks so much for “hanging out” with me today!!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!!
