Love Card – Crafty Meraki

Hello, crafty friends!! I hope you are all doing well!!

I have a sweet card to share with you today featuring the Love Story Stamp Set from Crafty Meraki!!

I began by stamping the adorable couple from Love Story onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them with Copic markers and cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. The sentiment was stamped with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die and trimmed into a narrow strip.

I die-cut the heart from white cardstock three times using the Heartful Greetings Die. I inked one of the hearts with Spun Sugar, Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks then splattered it with clean water and diluted white gouache. The other two die-cuts were adhered behind the ink-blended one, for dimension.

For the background, I inked an A2 panel of white cardstock with the same inks that I used on the heart, with the lightest in the center and the darkest toward the outside. I die-cut white cardstock with the Wanderlust Background Para-Die, trimmed it slightly and adhered it over the ink-blended panel.

The heart was adhered the the front of the card. The couple and sentiment die-cuts were popped up onto the heart with foam adhesive and this card was done!

Thanks so much for dropping in today!! Have a great Thursday!!
