Magnolia Birthday Card – Crafty Meraki

Hello, crafty friends!! I have a floral birthday card to share with you today for Crafty Meraki!! I used a slimline frame die to create a border for my card! Let’s get started!!

I started by stamping the flowers and sentiments from the Whimsical Magnolia Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored the florals with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Die to cut them all out.

For the background, I blended the Green Garland Stencil onto an A2 panel of white cardstock with Bundled Sage Distress Oxide Ink and a blending brush, using a very light hand. I trimmed a strip of vellum and die-cut a piece of pink cardstock with the largest die in the Timeless Frames Slimline Die Set. I also trimmed a narrow strip of pink cardstock and adhered the it, along with one side of the scalloped frame, over the vellum with liquid glue, then trimmed the excess from the top and bottom.

The flowers and sentiment were arranged and adhered using foam adhesive. A sprinkling of Rosy Opal Gems completes the card.

That’s it for me today!! Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! See you soon!!
