This week we’re focusing on die-cutting with the new Meraki Hugs Release!! I’ve combined the Peony Artisan Flora ParaDies, Meraki Moments Hello Stamps & Para-Dies, along with one of my favorite background dies, the Crafty Plaid Background A2 Die!!

I started by die-cutting the blooms from the Peony Artisan Flora ParaDies from light yellow cardstock and the leaves from light green. I blended the peonies with Kitsch Flamingo and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks using detail blending brushes. I added Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Ink to the leaves the same way, then adhered all of the elements together using liquid glue.

Next, the Meraki Moments Hello Para-Dies were die-cut from pink, white and yellow cardstock. “Friend” is from the Meraki Moments Hello Stamp Set. It was stamped onto pink cardstock with Versamark Ink, embossed with white embossing powder, then trimmed into a narrow banner.

The background was die-cut from white cardstock using the Crafty Plaid Background A2 Die and adhered to a white A2 card base. The flowers and leaves were arranged and adhered with liquid glue, while the sentiment was popped up with foam tape. A few Rosy Opal Gems draw your eye to the sentiment, but the real stars of the show are those stunning peonies!!

That’s it for my project today!! Be sure to visit the rest of the participants for more inspiration featuring the Meraki Hugs Release and be sure to comment along the way to be eligible to win the GC to the Crafty Meraki Shop!!
