Merry Everything – Honey Bee

Hey, friends and happy Tuesday!! I hope your week is off to a great start!!

I love all of the traditional images in the Sleigh Bells Ring Stamp Set from Honey Bee!! To me, they are classic Christmas images, so I chose to create a classic card with them!!

I began by stamping the sleigh from the Sleigh Bells Ring Stamp Set onto white cardstock with light and dark brown ink. The skates, wreath and rope were stamped onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink, then colored with Copic markers. All of the colored images were die-cut with the Coordinating Honey Cuts. The front curve of the sleigh was die-cut from red cardstock.

I trimmed a piece of patterned paper from the Gingham Galore: Holiday Paper Pad to A2 size and adhered it to a white, top-folding card base. The sleigh and rope were adhered to the background with Bee Creative Glue, while the wreath and skates were popped up with foam tape. The “Merry Everything” sentiment, from the Tag, You’re It: Holidays, was stamped onto white cardstock with red ink and and cut out with the Coordinating Die, then adhered to the center of the wreath with Bee Creative Glue.

The frame was die-cut from heavyweight white cardstock using the Wood Frame Builder Honey Cuts. I thought it was perfect to frame the wooden sleigh!! It was adhered to the edges of the card with foam adhesive.

That’s it!! I decided against embellishments and just let the traditional, classic images take center stage!!

Thanks so much for dropping by today!! Wishing you a wonderful week and I’ll see you soon!!

  1. Hola, Brenda! Super sweet card. 💜 Squirrel War update: I have taken control of the situation. I found a natural, safe, and inexpensive solution. Drum roll, please…….CAYENNE PEPPER! Yes, ma’am! I read that they loathe the smell of spicy and cayenne makes them run. So, I bought a jug of powdered cayenne pepper for $5 at Sam’s Club and no more gopher holes in my beautiful plants. They probably hate me and have my picture on their wall. haha haha Have a beautiful day, Brenda.

    1. Yay! So happy you won the squirrel war Marisela!! If you happen to find a cure for moles, let me know! Hubby has tried smoke bombs, traps, filling with water, etc. to no avail! Our poor yard is a mess…lol! Who would have thought squirrels don’t like cayenne pepper? Have a great night, dear!!
