Hello, crafters!! The brand new Pretty Pink Posh October release just dropped today and it’s soooooo good!! I’m sharing this card with a box of Christmas cookies featuring the Christmas Cookies Stamp & Die Set, a free gift with a $125 purchase, along with a few other new goodies!!
Let’s get started!!
I began by stamping the Christmas Cookies Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Copic-friendly black ink. I used the following Copic markers to color them:
- Red: R59, R37, R29, R35
- Blue: B00, B000, B0000
- Skintone: E15, E13
- Gray: N3, N2, N1, N0
- Brown: E49, E47, E44, E29, E27, E25, E23
- Tan: E51, E50
- Pink: R20
- Black: 100
I added highlights with a white gel pen, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.
Next, I die-cut one of the windows in the Stitched Windows 2 Die Set from red cardstock. I adhered a piece of acetate behind the window and added strips of foam tape to the back. The Layered Holiday Sprinkle Mix Stencil Set was stenciled onto a panel of white cardstock with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and red dye ink. It was cut down to fit behind the window and the sugar cookie images were adhered with liquid glue. The release paper was removed from the back of the foam adhesive strips on the back of the window and it was adhered on top.
I lightly blended the Layered Windowpane Plaid Stencils onto a panel of blue cardstock with Mermaid Lagoon Distress Ink. It was trimmed down slightly and adhered to an A2 white card base.
I wrapped blue and white baker’s twine around the box of cookies and adhered it to the back. A bow from the Stocking Gift Card Holder Die Set was cut from blue cardstock and adhered to the point where the twine crossed. The sentiment, from the Gingerbread Friends Stamp Set, was stamped onto red cardstock with clear embossing ink. It was heat embossed with white embossing powder, cut out with the Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape. To finish, I added a blue and white clay candy piece from the Gingerbread Cheer Clay Confetti Mix to the center of the bow.
