No Matter the Weather, We’re in This Together – Trinity Stamps

Hello crafty friends!! I have a cute scene to share with you today for Trinity Stamps which combines two of the new stamp sets from the Spring Fling ReleaseRainy Days Together and Puddle Jumpers!!

No-matter-the-weather-1

Since both of the main images in the sets were in the rain (I can certainly relate with the weather here lately…lol), I thought that it would be fun to put them together!!

I began by stamping both of the main images from Rainy Days Together and Puddle Jumpers with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink onto Bristol paper and coloring them with Zig Clean Color Markers. Once dry, I fussy cut the images and ran around the outside with a black Momento marker. I ink blended some clouds onto another panel of Bristol paper with a cloud stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. The single raindrops (from Rainy Days Together) were stamped onto the background panel with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink, colored in with a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen and Nuvo Crystal Glaze was applied to each drop for a wet look. The greeting, also from Rainy Days Together, was white heat embossed onto light blue cardstock, cut into a strip and fussy cut. Both the little girl and boy images and the greeting were popped up with foam adhesive, trimming off the excess at the bottom. I also added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the puddles. A mix of Double Bubble, Berry Blue and Hint of Mint Jelly Drop Heart Embellishment Mixes add a little more color around the main images!

  1. Couldn’t only comment on Instagram and not here. As you know I think this card is dynamite! Love, love, love it!

  2. Question for you dear: after colouring with the markers, how long did you leave the panel to dry before fussy cutting?

    1. Hi Amanda! I didn’t use a lot of water, so it dried pretty quickly…probably about 15 minutes or so. Hope this helps!!❤️
