Hello, crafters!! Did you know that the Lovely Layers: Outdoor Kitchen Die Set from Honey Bee Stamps works perfectly with the Lovely Layers: Front Porch Dies?!? I combined the two to make a fun shaped Father’s Day card to share with you today!!

I began by die-cutting the Lovely Layers: Front Porch Dies from tan cardstock. I added color to the die-cuts with brown and gray shades of Distress Oxide Inks. The Lovely Layers: Outdoor Kitchen Dies were cut from black, dark gray, light gray, dark red, frosted silver and brushed gold cardstock. I used some of the same Distress Oxide Inks to add color and shading to some of the die-cuts. I think it works best to apply the ink pad directly to the cardstock or use a sponge dauber (your finger works too…ha!).

All the kitchen accessory dies were adhered together, then adhered to the stone background panel with Bee Creative Glue. The front layer of the porch was popped up with foam squares.

The sentiments are from the Nailed It Stamp Set. They were stamped onto red cardstock with Bee Creative Embossing Ink and embossed with white embossing powder. The Coordinating Dies were used to cut them out, then they were adhered wtih foam squares.
Every dad deserves a beer on Father’s Day, so I die-cut the beer mug from the Lovely Layers: Mancave Die Set from white cardstock. I used Copic markers to color the die-cuts, adhered them together with Bee Creative Glue, then popped it up with foam squares, as well.
I trimmed a note card down to 3.5″ wide by 4″ tall and adhered it to the back of the porch to write my dad a personal message.

I’m always a huge fan of a shaped card and I LOVE how this one turned out!! I hope my dad loves it, too!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great week!!
