Hello, crafters and happy Novemeber!! I’m sharing a Project Inspiration project for Papertrey Ink today!! If you know me, you know I absolutely love snowmen!! There’s just something about their sweet smiles, cozy scarves, and frosty charm that makes winter crafting so much fun!! Today’s card features two adorable snowmen bundled up in festive red and aqua, surrounded by beautiful snowflakes. And the sentiment is such a lovely reminder that some friendships make the holidays feel even more like home. This little pair has certainly melted my heart, and I hope they bring a smile to yours, too!!

Supplies
Stamps: This Is Big Sentiments: XL Merry Christmas
Dies: Build-A-Snowman, Love To Layer: Fancy That, Forever Snowflake Frame
Stencil: Build-A-Snowflake
Ink: Hibiscus Burst
Cardstock: Pure Poppy, Coastal Blue, Hawaiian Shores, Orange Zest, Green Parakeet, Cocoa Bean, Stamper’s Select White
Other supplies: opaque texture paste, white brushed glitter cardstock, vellum, glossy black cardstock, Christmas Red Stickles, white gel pen, white pearl stickers, Versamark, white embossing powder, liquid glue, foam tape

Step 1: Trim panel of Coastal Blue cardstock slightly smaller than A2 and spread opaque texture paste onto it through a stencil from the Build-A Snowflake Stencil Set. Once dry, adhere to an A2 panel of Pure Poppy cardstock.

Step 2: Die-cut vellum and white brushed glitter cardstock with the largest die in the Love To Layer: Fancy That Die Set. Hand cut the white brushed cardstock to create a snow bank and adhere to the bottom of the vellum, then adhere to the background with liquid glue.

Step 3: Die-cut snowflakes from the Forever Snowflake Frame Die Set from white brushed glitter cardstock and adhere to the background with liquid glue.
Step 4: (I forgot to take a photo…sorry!) Die-cut all of the elements for the snowmen from Stamper’s Select White, Pure Poppy, Hawaiian Shores, Orange Zest, Green Parakeet, Cocoa Bean, and glossy black cardstock using the Build-A-Snowman Die Set. Adhere all the die-cuts together with liquid glue and add Hibiscus Burst ink with a small blending brush to add color to the cheeks. Draw in details and highlights with a white gel pen. Add white pearls and Christmas Red Stickles. Adhere the snowmen to the background with liquid glue.

Step 5: Stamp the sentiment from the This Is Big Sentiments: XL Merry Christmas Stamp Set onto Pure Poppy cardstock with Versamark ink and emboss with detail white embossing powder. Trim into a banner and pop up along the bottom with foam tape.

I had so much fun creating this sweet snowman duo!! Their cheerful smiles, festive accessories, and my favorite red-and-aqua color combination make this card extra special!! I hope it inspires you to bring a little snowman magic to your own Christmas cardmaking and to share a handmade hug with someone special this holiday season. After all, the best gifts are often the friendships that make our hearts feel at home!
