Pet Sympathy Card – Honey Bee

Hello, fellow crafters and card makers!! I hope you’re all doing well!!

When I saw the Rainbow Dreams Mini Release from Honey Bee Stamps, I thought it would be perfect for a pet sympathy card!! I paired it with a pup from the Puppy Dog Tails Stamp Set and it turned out exactly how I pictured it in my head (maybe even better)! Don’t you love it when that happens?!?

I began by creating my shaped card base from heavyweight white cardstock using the Rainbow Builder A2 Card Base Die Set. Next, I die-cut the wider rainbow stripes from white cardstock and the thin stripes from white glitter cardstock using the Rainbow Accents Honey Cuts. The clouds were also cut from white glitter cardstock using the same set. I colored the wide rainbow stripes with Copic markers and adhered them, along with the thin stripes, to the card base with Bee Creative Glue.

The puppy, from the Puppy Dog Tails Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink, colored with Copic markers and cut out with the Coordinating Honey Cut. I added some highlights with a white gel pen.

The hearts, from the Rainbow Dreams Stamp Set, and the paw prints from the Puppy Dog Tails Set, were stamped onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink. They were cut out with the Rainbow Dreams and Puppy Dog Tails Honey Cuts. The sentiments are from the Rainbow Bridge Stamp Set. They were also stamped onto white cardstock with Intense Black Ink and cut out with their Coordinating Dies.

The bottom two clouds were adhered with Bee Creative Glue. The pup, top two clouds, paw prints, hearts and sentiment were all popped up with foam adhesive.

The die-cut sentiment was adhered to the inside of the card and I was finished!

The Puppy Dog Tails Stamp Set has several different breeds of dogs, so you could personalize your card to the recipient!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great week and I’ll see you soon!!
