Picket Fence Studios December 2023 Release

Hello again, friends and happy Thursday!! I hope you’re having a great day!!

It’s release day for the Picket Fence Studios December Release!! There’s a fun and inspiring hop happening over on IG…I’ll pop a link to my account at the bottom of this post so you can join in the fun and possibly win a $75 GC to the Picket Fence Studios Shop!!

My first card features the Kisses for You Word Die, Friends Give the Best Hugs Stamp & Coordinating Dies, Quilting Hearts 6×8 Stencil and a balloon from the Surprise! It’s Your Day Stamp Set

I started by stamping the adorable ducks from the Friends Give the Best Hugs Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I also stamped the balloon from the Surprise! It’s Your Day Stamp Set with the same ink. I colored the images with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, cut the ducks out with their Coordinating Die and fussy cut the balloon.

For the background, I stenciled the Quilting Hearts 6X8 Stencil onto white cardstock with Clear Twinkle Lights Paper Glaze. Once it was dry, I trimmed each side and adhered strips of cardstock that were colored by pouncing Distress Oxide onto them with Paper Pouncers.

The sentiment, from the Kisses For You Word Die Set, was cut from white cardstock. I added color with Distress Oxide Inks and Paper Pouncers. I also added three more die-cuts behind the inked ones for dimension, then adhered them to the front of the card. The balloon and ducks were popped up with foam tape and a sprinkling of the Spring Is Hopping Sequin Mix finishes off the card.

My second card features the Welcome Home Bun Bun Dies, Pick A Carrot Background Stamp and a sentiment from the Friends Give the Best Hugs Stamps & Coordinating Dies. How adorable is this little carrot house and bunny?!?

I began by die-cutting all of the pieces of the Welcome Home Bun Bun Die Set from white cardstock. I colored them with Copic markers, adhered all of the die-cuts together with liquid glue, then used a gel pen to add white highlights.

For the background on this one, I white heat embossed the Pick A Carrot Stamp Set onto white cardstock and added color with Distress Oxide Ink and a Paper Pouncer. I trimmed the panel slightly and adhered it to an A2 panel of orange cardstock. The carrot house, clouds and grass were all adhered with liquid glue. The bunny was popped up with foam tape.

The sentiment for this one is from the Friends Give the Best Hugs Stamp Set. It was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, cut out with its Coordinating Die and popped up with foam tape.

That’ll do it for me today!! Hop on over and join in the festivities on Instagram @mypapercutcreations. Be sure to check out the entire fabulous new release over in the Picket Fence Shop!!

Have a great week!!
