It’s release day for the Picket Fence Studios July/August Release!! There’s a fun and inspiring hop happening over on IG…I’ll pop a link to my account at the bottom of this post so you can join in the fun and possibly win a $75 GC to the Picket Fence Studios Shop!!
This release is all about fall and Halloween, with a few florals thrown in!! Although I love all the Halloween goodies, I couldn’t resist the florals!! I have two cards to share with you combining several products from the new release!!
I began by stamping the stunning Blooming Chrysanthemum Stamp onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored it with Copic markers and fussy cut it out.
For the background, I used the A Whole Lot of Polka Dots Stencil and spread Gilded Candlesticks Paper Glaze Velvet onto a panel of light pink cardstock with a palette knife. Once that was dry, I trimmed it slightly, then adhered it to an A2 panel of dark pink cardstock. The chrysanthemum was adhered and the excess was trimmed from all the edges.
The sentiment is from the 5X7 Double Stitched Layering Rectangle Die Set. It was die-cut once from pearl gold cardstock and three times from heavyweight white cardstock. The layers were stacked and adhered together, then added to the front of the card.
My second card features the Lemon Queen Sunflower Stamp Set & Coordinating Dies…
I stamped the gorgeous sunflower and bees from the Lemon Queen Sunflower Stamp Set onto white cardstock with PFS Black Hybrid Ink. I colored them with Copics and used the Coordinating Die to cut them out.
The background was die-cut from dark teal cardstock using the A2 Pierced Blanket Cover Plate Die. I adhered the sunflower to the background, trimmed the excess from each side and splattered on some gold watercolor paint.
The sentiment is also from the Lemon Queen Sunflower Stamp Set. It was stamped with yellow ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up with foam tape, along with the sweet bees. A combination of Karma Is Like a Breeze and All About the Teals Sequin Mixes finish this one off.
